About Me

Welcome! I’m Abhinav Nigam, a Founder at Yellow Concessions & Sumeru Technologies and a Junior at Panther Creek High School in Cary, NC. I’m interested in all sorts of things, but I am most passionate about simply doing good for this world and striving to have a positive impact on everyone around me.

More personally, I enjoy spending time outside, whether that’s hiking, simply walking, or playing sports, and I also love playing the guitar (ps. my Spotify Wrapped age was 72). I often find myself delving in philosophy and physics, trying to understand the world, and one day, through engineering and entrepreneurship, I hope I can make it a better place. Sumeru Technologies is one primary example of this, where we’re working on building some of the world’s first scalable quantum-classical hybrid cryogenic computing chips.

I'm currently also working on making Yellow Concessions a reality—a comprehensive concessions platform for high school booster clubs and a wide range of customers across the Triangle. It grew out of conversations with my school’s booster club after learning that a large amount of their money had been embezzled the previous year, which made me realize how I could use my skills and interests to create systems that could impact them in a very positive way.
